These students had never touched clay before. for 4 weeks, we learned all the basics. from wedging to slipping and scoring to glazing and we even learned what the cones were in a kiln! With a minimal (non-existent) budget, we learned to reclaim on old shelves, we shared our tools, and we supported one another through the basics of hand building!
